tipping for taxi drivers help please

just though of someting how much do i need to tip the taxi driver whos picking us up from cdg to hotel? , also we are paying him per way in cash should i take a printed record of what i was quoted was the price don't want him to suddenly add a bit more on

Hello. We were picked up by RS transport at CDG and I had with me copy of their confirmation where it showed how much I had to pay. As for tippin, our driver was very helpful and since we had 4 pieces of luggage, I gave him €5 extra. Just thinking how convenience it was for us to be picked up, the tip was well worth it.

Hope it helps. Ah...we were quoted to € 140 round trip...where we paid €80 one way and the other €60 on the way back from NPB to CDG.

we too have quoted 140 euros return, was going to give him 70 each way, how long approx did it take your taxi to get to hotel we are staying in sequoia ldge
