Tipping for concierge service?

I understand tipping for mousekeeping, but what is the expectation for concierge since you are already paying a premium for special services? I don't want to be cheap--if it's expected, how much should you give to whom and when?

It's my understanding that WDW concierge are not allowed to accept cash, but you could give them a gift (box of chocolates, fruit basket, etc.) if you want to - it is certainly not required. There are some very good ideas for gifts on the "Concierge Bug" thread, starting on page 7.:wave2:
