Do you tip per day per person even if your children are not eating in the main dining room with you? I know some people are giving 'tips' to the children's club workers but 4 out of the 7 traveling with us will be in the kids club probaley 24/7....all the categories listed appear to be mainly the dining rooms.....

The short answer is that you are supposed to. Servers rely on tips for their income so even if your little one is not occupying the seat, they are still counted toward the "total". What you do with this information is at your discretion.

Have a great cruise!

and have a plan B, some kids don't like the clubs, or don't like a particular activity. Frankly, our kids come to dinner every night, they might leave early for an activity, but they did eat with us.

Our kids came to dinner with us every night as well. They would attend club activities afterwards.

Our kids loved our servers and were very entertained by them. I think DD3 fell in love with Alex from the Phillipines.

Just another thing to keep in mind...

The wait staff all works in various other places through out the day, like at the buffets. So even though your child is not being served dinner by them, they have probably still been benifited by them, if that makes any sense.

You should still tip the amount per day per person. The CM's count on that for part of their wages. They do work the breakfasts and buffets and in other areas as well.

FYI, the clubs don't serve dinner the first night. Our DD paged us while we were at dinner embarkation night, and I arrived at the club to find DD in tears because she was so hungry. After that experience, we decided that dinner was family time.

Our DD8 and her cousin wanted to hit the kids club as soon as it opened on our departure day. She had some chicken fingers and fries from Pluto's Dog House and the lab did serve them pizza at about 9pm. As another poster mentioned, my DD8 also made her dinner plans around what was going on for activities. In fact, on the second night, she ate dinner with her lab friends and came with us to our late seating.

We saw our servers at other times working in different parts of the ship.
