Hi Question for you. We are travelling on the Mexican Cruise in late May. There will be my husband, me, our just turned 5 year old and our 1 year old. Do we tip the full amount for the baby? They charged us almost nothing for her for the cruise and I don't know how much food she will be consuming but I'd assume not much (plus we will probably not be going to the dining rooms much as we are on a waitlist for early seating that probably won't clear). Both kids are normally in bed by 8 or 8:30 PM so starting dinner at 8:30 will be rough (for everyone :charac2: )

Thanks for any hints,
Sue

Yes, it is customary to tip the full amount for all children, including babies. Think about what a mess babies make with food. If your child is anything like mine, the tip is well earned.

Same for the stateroom host or hostess. Think of them changing the diaper genie and you will know they earn the money. :D

I agree, the tip should also be included for the 1 year old. Even if you don't go into the Dining rooms for dinner, the same servers work breakfast and lunch. So you aren't only tipping for dinner, you tipping for all meals. Have fun!
