Tipping at Value Resorts

I am going to be staying at Pop Century in a few weeks. What is customary for tipping housekeeping? I would like to make sure I take of folks, but at only $55 per night I am at a loss for what is expected or normally done.

I tipped $5 a night but i have 2 toddlers running around andhte beds were ususally a mess in the morning. Be warned that some of the mousekeepers leave the money. I didnt have envelopes for them or anything. When i say they left the money i mena they left he money befhind when it was placed ona pile of used towels inthe bathtub. They are beyond honest IMO.

$1-2 a person per day is usually what people tip housekeeping. It is a good idea to tip daily so that the person who cleaned your room gets the money.

I just stayed at the Pop earlier this month, and for my two DD's and myself, I tipped $4 a day.

We are two very clean adults who will hardly ever be in the room. We just plan to leave a note on day 1 asking for just fresh towels and an emptied garbage bin each day and that's it. We don't want them to go to any extra trouble, since we will hardly ever be there...

We plan to tip $4 a day, maybe $5 if we get towel animals...

We tip $5 a day. That way whoever ckleans it gets the $. The 1st day I left a little thank you note with the money. The mousekeeper added some extra touches and extra soap. (This was at PORS). I tip the same at each resort.

Thanks to everyone who applied. Based on the responses it sounds like folks tip anywhere from $2-$5 per day. I really appreciate the info-

We are 2 adults and tip 1-2 bucks every day. We use the envelopes, too... a couple days housekeeping forgot to get it, though. So we just keep adding to it.
