I thought that I had read somewhere (on this board) that the M.E. drivers did not expect to be tipped.
However, the bus had a sign that said
"Earned gratuities gladly accepted" (or something similar).
What exactly does this mean. Does this mean the the driver is earning a wage, where the company fully expects that the driver will make decent tips?
Does this mean that I should tip unless the driver delivers lower quality than I expect?
Or, does this mean that I should tip the driver if he goes beyond what I think is expected?
