Tipping and arrival at the resort

Just started to pack as I will leaving home on Sunday to start my trip and suddenly started to worry about two things, hope to get some answers here!

1. We will be arriving late at MCO after travelling from Europe, so we are planning to take our bags on the bus. As I understand it, we tip at the end of the trip? And would be three dollars for two people with one bag each ok or is this too little?

2. Upon arrival at our resort (AKL) are we supposed to hand our bags over to anyone or can we just take them to check-in? Might be a bit of a strange question, but I don't want to be a stupid foreign tourist

Since you are planning on taking your own bags a $3.00 tip is reasonable IMHO.
You may take your own bags to check in. That way they will be with you since you are arriving late and you will not have to wait for them to be delivered.

What I usually do is have one person go check in and the other person just sit in the lobby with the bags. At AKL they have the line for check in roped off so it might be awkward maneuvering suitcases through the line. So I make my bf sit with the bags- he's fine with that

I thought one of us might get off the bus and directly go to check-in while the other gets the bags, that woould even safe some time!

There will be Bell people around to help you if you want that too. It's your choice. Personally, we don't use the Bell Service. Something strange about putting a case of beer on that cart and having it taken to your room!
