So, IF you are Conceirge and request a Cababa...and IF you are "awarded " said Cabana....then request golf cart transportation to and from Cabana, do you tip the golf cart driver? Will you have the same driver, both ways? Do these drivers expect tips? How much do you tip? I know not to ask Disney. I DO NOT want or expect this to turn into a tipping debate. I'm already confused enough, especially for what to tip Conceirge Hosts. AM PLANNING ON TIPPING, just not sure about golf cart drivers.

I am not trying to sound rude, but if you can afford concierge and a cabana, what is an extra $5 to the golf cart driver who chauffeurs you to and/or from your cabana? Do you tip your Uber driver? Do you tip your valet?

(I have never cruised concierge, so I wasn't aware these golf carts were a thing either)

I've never even thought about tipping the driver of the golf cart to the cabana, and it didn't seem like a situation where the person expected it because the service is relatively fast. It feels more like something that is included, rather than an extra service you are receiving (not that this is the tip/don't tip divider, but it's something). They always pull away as soon as you hop off and grab your stuff in my experience. Sometimes, especially late in the day, the drivers are the concierge staff who you will be tipping separately at the end of the cruise anyway.

You almost certainly won't have the same driver both ways.

We’ve never stayed concierge, but have been fortunate enough to get a Serenity Bay cabana on several occasions. Each of those times, the cabana attendant took us back to the ship in a golf cart at the end of the day (even though we took “regular” transportation to get out there), and we tipped above what we would have just for services provided as our cabana attendant.

Ahh, we've never had anyone take us from the cabana all the way back to the ship. We just had the 3-minute ride from the check-in hut to the cabana at the start of the day. And I've seen people driving around late in the day but never actually gotten a ride from them.

Golf carts to family cabanas are usually driven by concierge hosts, who are included in the tipping for the cabana, or they are driven by a Guest Services CMs who cannot accept tips.

As mentioned, it will probably be one of the concierge hosts - just reflect it in their end-of-cruise tip. Last time we did it, we just took the tram to the closest stop and walked to cabana 9. None of them are a long walk.

Thank you, everyone, for the replies! I didn't want to be one of "those" people, who don't tip. Just was confused on whom the driver/s might or could be. Never have experienced this before and just want to do the correct thing, without hurting anyones feelings. Guess we'll just have to pay closer attention to whom the drivers are!!!

The people who were in the cabana next to us got in the golf cart and handed him a $50 and asked if they could be taken directly to the ship. The driver said yes :)
I didn’t have cash with us because I never even thought of it, we always walk. But now that my DH seen that, he wants to bring cash next time and be brought back to the boat!
