I'm not sure if this is the right forum...but I need some general guidelines for tipping:

housekeeping
town car drivers (each way)
CM's that assist with luggage
anything else you can think of other than restaurants - I think I can handle that one;)

I haven't stayed at a WDW resort, but I've read on the boards that you are NOT expected to tip Mousekeeping; It is one of those jobs that is just expected to be done. If a mousekeeper has gone above and beyond what is expected, than tip is warranted at the descretion of the hotel guest. Like I said, this is what I have read here ;) .

Tipping towncars: $10.00 each way is usually standard.

I think $2-$3 per bag is appropriate tipping for CMs assisting with luggage.

Hope this helps!

Hi. I give housekeeping in any nice hotel $3 (1 adult, one child and we're NEAT) and $3 for turndown.
I give town car drivers $15 or $20 each way.
I give bellmen $3 or so per bag. No less than $10 - usually about $15.
We are big tippers, however. When traveling w/ my girlfriends, they usually do about half that...
Oh, and I would give about $3 to the valet. Sometimes $5.

Does everyone tip the guy that helps you when you first arrive (getting you luggage out) AND the bellman who brings up your luggage?

Yes, if my luggage is stored and another person brings it to my room, I tip both.:wave2:

Yes, Mickymark, I do, although that can really *suck* if you arrive and go straight to your room and drop $10-$20 bucks for seemingly nothing.

This helps me a lot - I've been trying to figure out how much cash I'll need each day!
