Tip question..

Ok we are a family of 4 going to Disney on the DXDP and Ive read when you eat at a buffet you tips are not included so you have to tip.. Do I HAVE to tip 18% for someone just to get my drinks ect.. or do I have a choice of what I think the service is worth? I know 6 or more its an automatic 18% but wasnt sure about 4 people? Thanks

Honestly, I usually tip at buffets a little less than usual. I always tip 20% for sit down, unless service is poor. Buffets, I usually do 15% unless the service is exceptional and then I'll do more.

btw...tips aren't included in sit down places either.

I knew the tips werent included in the buffets or the sit down meals I just wasnt sure if it was an option what on what you could tip.. I thought maybe they made you pay the whole 18% no ifs ands or buts about it..

Tips are not included in the majority of dining expereinces. (HDDR, Aloha, CRT are the exception). Since you are a party of 4 the tip will be left to your discretion.

Me too, it is all inclusive or not at all for us! Saved money and had more fun without a dining plan in July anyway so I guess it wasn't a bad thing to leave it behind!

What you decide to leave as a tip is totally up to you.
You definately do not have to leave 18 to 20 percent if you do not want to, not even at the full table service locations. It is at your discretion.

Completely & totally easy. You can easily put tips plus anything not covered (drinks, etc.) by DDP on a credit card. Even easier still to put charging privileges on your KTTW card by registering that same credit card to your room at check-in.
