DW an I are flying into MCO next week for a week at POFQ.

I scanned reviews for car services and found one with outstanding reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor.

The round trip fare is quoted as $200 “inclusive.” I asked by email if “inclusive” includes gratuity and received a response that yes, it does.

I hate to come across as cheap, and wonder if it’s appropriate to still tip, but I hate to ruin this for others.

What do others here think? Still tip?

(Many years ago in high school I worked for tips, so maybe I’m too sympathetic.)

If the company replied that tipping is already included, then I wouldn't tip. Yelp manipulates the way reviews display, so I would never depend on their information.

It's totally up to you. I am of the belief that if the "tip" is included in the fee it's no longer a tip and I don't add more on top.

I would consider tipping extra if I took advantage of a grocery stop, definitely if I went a few minutes over the time offered. I would tip extra extra if the driver did something out of the ordinary, such as dissassembling an ECV so it would fit.

I've reserved a car service where I had the option of adding on the gratuity. I always say somethin like I had the tip added on, make sure you get it. I'd probably even say something where the tip is automatic.

edited...auto correct is evil

Definitely tip extra if they do something above and beyond what is normal.
