Tip for saving on plane fare

It doesn't even have to be where you purchased tickets. It can be any site where you are checking ticket prices or car rentals, hotels.

We saw a story tonight on the news here in Houston KHOU Channel 11
That suggested before you go on line to a site where you previously purchased tickets... erase your cookies. Apparently you may not get the best deal if previous visit shows you saved. Thought this was a good tip.

That's a real shame. You'd think that companies would reward repeat customers instead of trying to circumvent their savings :sad2:
 
Just for general security, it is probably best to set your browser to clear all cookies, history, passwords etc. automatically on closing the browser. It's a little inconvenient, but better safe than sorry.
