Here's a hint for saving a little money on airfare. I checked roundrip fares using the standard ways such as Travelocity, Expedia, and the airline's sites directly. I noticed the cheapest (and most convenient) flights were via Expedia but they used two different airlines- AirTran and United. As you may know Expedia adds on a delivery charge and a service fee. Well, I went to AirTran and United and noticed that they offer cheap one-way fares. Remember how if you used to fly one-way it would cost as much as round trip? I ended up booking our flights by purchasing one-way tickets and saved myself some money. The additional benefit is that you can get ticketless travel.
