I took a walk down memory lane tonight with my daughters. They found a box in the basement labeled "Mom's Dolls" and they started looking through it. Oh, how happy I am that I kept some of them! :lovestruc I have my Cabbage Patch Kid and my "preemie," plus the cheap knock-off my parents bought me to try to appease me before my grandparents gave in and bought me the real one. :rotfl:
I have my Mandy doll... remember those? and a My Child doll, and See Wee dolls and babies. I used to love playing with those in the bathtub in their spongy lilypads.
I started remembering tiny little fashion dolls kind of the same size as Polly Pockets, but they weren't Polly Pockets. They had long hair and names, like Alyssa and Gabriella (or something like that). They kind of looked like tiny hookers, if my memory serves me correctly. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? My sister and I used to love those!

Yep but they were bigger than a polly pocket about 4 inches. I think I had Tina. she had very long sandy blonde/brown hair long legs with feet in a permanent point to wear her very high sandal heels, a very tiny waist and very big you know whats! She had on bright blue eyeshadow and a halter dress it was white skirt, blue top.
I still have mine! don't have the shoes tho, darn.

I just read your post again
I may not have had the same thing cause mine was from way earlier than the 80's. wonder if they were re-released? cause it certainly sounds like what I had.

I had a Dawn doll but I am thinking it was 70's - probably mid or so

I had Mandy. Boy do i miss her now. No idea what happened to her. My cousin had Jenny her namesake:rotfl:

Who remembers Whoopsie? I had 1 of those too.

So much fun I had

And I had a Molly Moppet too. The doll with the house under her skirt. Oh my goodness I loved that.

Don't make things like this anymore, they really don't.

I had Dawn Dolls!!! Wow, what memories! I also had he Darci line of dolls they mention at the bottom, those were my favorites.
I had Mandy too, sold her about 10 years ago on e-bay.

I am LOVING this thread! Some more 80's toy goodies that I found:

I forgot all about these dolls! I remember using them as the "nerds" when playing with Barbie. Poor things.

:rotfl: I received these dolls the same year I received my first Barbie (Kissing Barbie) and the Barbie Townhouse. I pretended that they were Barbie's poor, height-challenged family who needed a place to stay.
