but I saw this under the schedule for July 17, 2004.

Does anybody know what
Tink's Summer Pin Quest, is?

I love tinkerbell and am curious.

I read somewhere that there is a pin trading event that day at MK. Maybe someone else knows more about it though.

Magic Kingdom Park and a
Walt Disney World (R) Resort Hotel


Specific information has not yet been relased on any of the sites I visited but here is the nformation bout the one last month to give you an idea.
Registration will be available on line beginning Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
The number of event packages is limited and will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
All event product will be pre-sold and assigned randomly by the Disney Merchandise System, managed by Disney Information Technology.
Random Selection Forms (RSP) will be mailed to registered event guests beginning April 4, 2004 and must be returned to Walt Disney Event Services on or before May 4, 2004.
Quantities are limited and only available while supplies last. Please be advised that some items may not be available the day of the event. All Sales are final.
Guests must check-in at the event in person and provide photo ID to pick up their packets and merchandise.

It is what Disney calls a "hard ticket" event. You have to pay to attend as well as buy admission to the park. The event in March at MGM was $65 and the one in June at AK is $125.

There will be folks in the park with bags of pins to trade. A building or area will be set aside for the event.

Included in the price for some events is a meal and some free pins. For the MGM event, we got a nice event pin, a surprise pin and a box set of 4 pins at the end of the night. You also have the chance to buy event exclusive pins.

The details should be out soon so folks can start registering. The link that pintrader gave is the best place to get info when it becomes available.
