Thanks so much to everyone who is playing along with our game! I hope you're all enjoying it

I've had a crazy long week but I just needed to update you guys on something trip related...

I was looking at our dining reservations again the other day and just thought we had too many buffet/character meals scheduled. We needed something different...so I thought and thought and with the help of tinkgurl, changed something around!

Instead of eating at Chef Mickey's we're going to be eating at Rose and Crown at 7:20! Thanks to Dawn for getting that changed up for us! I'm hoping that we'll be able to watch Illuminations from where we're seated eating

Also, Disney dining had nade a mistake with tinkgurl's family's Spirit of Aloha reservation! They put them in for the early show instead of the late one! So Dawn again had that fixed for us since it would be easier to move us 2 up earlier then their whole party of 10 back to the late one. Plus, if our luau is anything like their "loopy luau" from last year, we'll be happy it was earlier when we have to wake up early for our Tusker House reservation the next morning Hope everyone's weekend is going great!

I've only seen the bar area of Rose & Crown...

But! I've heard awesome reviews and how cool would that be if yall caught Illuminations when yall were eating?!

(They make some good Washington Apples there... just sayin...)

Rose & Crown is really really good! And I just wanted to share something with you in case you guys for some reason don't get to catch Illuminations from there. We made our ADR thinking we'd be able to catch it, then they pushed the show back an hour. But, when we were done eating, our server told us that if we wanted to catch Illuminations, we could go back there, let them know we had eaten there and tell them his name, and they would let us in some little private area to watch. I'm sure you will be able to catch it when you're actually eating there but I just wanted to throw that out there!

I am glad to hear you were able to make your reservation changes. My DH and I will be eating at the Rose and Crown for the first time in June.

The luau will be a lot of fun. I think the earlier one will be nice, too. Won't there be little one with them? He might be in a better mood earlier and then ready to call it a night soon after the luau.

only the bar area? lol I actually was able to get Chris to sit down and read some reviews with me of Rose and Crown and they were mostly good too. I hope we get to see Illuminations! And umm...what is a Washington Apple? lol
