Tinkerbelle Size (SINGLE) Royal Carriage Swap

Hi everyone. We just got back from our trip Saturday night. We all had so much fun.

The stroller was really great - so easy to push and maneuver around. We didn't have any issues with it at all. The only thing we noticed was the strap cover seam in the crotch area is coming undone. This doesn't hinder anything. But if the next swapper could take some fray check or clear nail polish, it could keep the fabric from fraying more. Also, I think you could probably super glue it back to the original seam. We took a picture of it and we'll try to post it so you can get an idea of what we are talking about.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

:goodvibes

Happy Mother's Day! I hope everyone had a great day. It was a GREAT day.

I had to call my ADR's while on the road to Biltmore House this am. I called at 7am and was on hold for an hour and we hit a dead area!:scared: I called right back and was on hold another 35mins. We had arrived at Biltmore and I was on my last ressie when I lost the call! I was about to go crazy! :scared1: I finally got through after 15 mins and got everything I wanted!:cool1:
Now the count down begins!

I am dreading making my ADR's. I can make them on the 25th.:thumbsup2
How many ADR's did you make?
I have 16+BBB to try and do!!!!!

Here's images of the stroller strap that I mentioned in an earlier post.

That stinks about the tear. Thank goodness it is just a minor problem. I am still waiting for someone to fill in those dates after me July 21. Anyone??

Ugghhhhh O simply can't understand the problems with the strollers (RC swap) Our original were almost 8 months old before any problems and lately it's crazy. Luckily this is only the strap. so it should be fine for now. Hopefully the stroller will last until I get to use it...lol. Luckily the seat for the single is less than $20 with shipping if we have to get another one later.

seeing pictures of tink make me so sad...I miss her! I miss using her in my favorite place on Earth! :sad2:

You and me both. LOL!!! Starting to wonder if there will be anything left for me to bring back to Ohio. :rotfl:

Hi all! I am interested in using the stroller July 25-31. But I was wondering if it will work for us. My son is 5. (he will probably walk a majority of the time, but I know from experience that since the older kids will want to keep going past what he is able, that having a stroller for those times when he needs a rest and my others are still going is essential.) He is only 40 pounds and I read that the stroller has a 75lb. capacity. But I am a bit worried about hte size. From the pics it looks like it is toddler sized? He is small for his age and a skinny little thing, but long. Has anyone used this with a 5 yr old?

I think Tink will work great for you.

Ok, one more thing.... how well does this thing travel on the WDW busses and boats? We won't have a rental car and will be using WDW transportation all week. Does it fold well?

.

Weather's great, stroller moves very nicely and is pretty easy to maneuver. Storage basket is holding a 12 pack sized soft cooler and we've been able to hang our diaper bag from the handle. folds up quickly, opens easily, and fits in our Hyundai Azera rental with plenty of room.

Seriously- This thing is so easy to push. I have never used one like this before, but I LOVE it. My DD is 5 and she loves it too. She keeps asking if we can just take it home.:rotfl: She is not going to like getting back to reality and having to walk again.

From other swappers the stroller is easy to push, fold up and unfold. I tested one at a store around where I live and found it very easy to use.
My niece will be the one using the stroller. She will be 5 and is 40 lbs. She is also almost 43" tall. She fit in the stroller when we were testing it out:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Ok - I'm in! I'll pm Parker'smomma. I think it is meant to be since my week is actually open. Reagan75, this will work well as I will be at the FWcabins too!

Yay! Sounds great to me. I was really worried about leaving it "unattended" for so long. Have you stayed at FW before? Can I just leave it there somewhere? This will be our first stay so any guidance is appreciated.

No, I haven't stayed there before, and I won't be coming in until a few days after you leave, so I'm guessing you will need to leave it at the front desk for me, and have them hold it.

Just one more week to fill and it's a full swap! Thank you to EVERYONE who stayed with the swap after all the big changes. I know your heart is totally in it!

As for the exchanges, it's so much easier to leave the stroller at the incoming swappers resort. It simply super nice to just slip down to your Luggage services and pick up the stroller than to travel all day to get to WDW then check in and lastly, hop on a bus to another resort to pick up the stroller.

I have faith in the stroller being there for us (littlemermaid and I) getting to use the strollers. I know that if something becomes damaged, that someone within the swap will donate the new part/item. I do have the model number and INSTEPs number if it every comes to that.

Thanks everyone for keeping up with the swap. I've on Overtime, training three new ppl the past week and totally burnt out from work...lol...then the boss announces today he is leaving for a week plus we have company arriving tomorrow for a week:scared1:. So if I'm not around much, that's whats up here...lol...sometimes life gets in my way of DISBOARDs time.
