Tinkerbelle flying?

During the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, it was explained that the cable was not actually a cable. Instead, Peter Pan had drawn a line in the sky to help Tink with the path of her flight. I don't know if it's too late to provide the "real" explanation to your DD, but you may want to give it a try.

At the time, we came up with the explanation that the cable was there, only to show Tink which way to fly, and where to land so that she would land safely. DD was skeptical, but the next day was feeling better about it. Of course, when we go in December, she will see it again, so the magic may be gone:(

Funniest moment of our trip in May was when Tink flew right over our heads and my 14 year old DD shouted out "Oh my god, Tinks a guy!!" Everyone around us burst out laughing. I had to admit that the Tink that night was rather masculine looking, so who knows?:hyper:

Sometimes a witch flies instead of Tink at MNSSHP. :-)

And yes, she flew when I was there Christmas week last year. So yes, Tink does fly in December.

Thanks to everyone for the great replies! I definitely love the explanation about Peter Pan drawing her a line. I am going to use that one. Can't wait to see her. I think we will just station ourselves in the appropriate spot and not tell my DS. That way if she doesn't show up, he isn't disappointed. Thanks again!
