Tinkerbell wake up...MK

I posted on the tips board and thanks to bluejasmine, I know the name of Tinkerbell's store in MK. I want my DD9 to wake her up so, I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so how was it? Did you have a long line or rush to it? Is it possible to be the first one easily or, is it tough to be first? Just wanted others opinions, thanks!!!!!

We did this last year in Sept. My DD and I had a CRT breakfast PS for 8:00. The park didn't open til 9:00 so after our breakfast we had to wait for the rope drop anyway. We waited right outside the castle in front of Tinks Treasures. At 9:00 am we walked right in. There were no others in the store and we just asked if Tink needed waking up. The CM gave my DD a wand to tap on a treasure box that Tink sleeps in and soon we could see her in the bureau and see the pixie dust.

Tinkerbells Treasures is located behind the castle before the carosel, kind of a corner shop.So if you walk through the castle, past the murals etc... Tinks treasures will be on your left just as you exit . Does that make sense? I'm not the best with directions!

Did you notice a lot of people coming for it after you were done? I guess I want to know if I need to "book it" over there or if we can just walk. Thanks so much. I am glad she had fun. I want my DD to have the same experience. Thanks for the info.

We lucked out last November and were the first to ask. We were there when the park opened but stopped for several character autographs before going to Tinkerbell's Treasures. Good Luck!!!!

My DD and niece did this last year and it is really cute! We had a early PS at CRT and when we finished up it was 9:15 - we thought we would be too late but we asked anyway and the girls got to Wake Up Tink

However this year in May DD wanted to try again - We had an early CRT and when we got out we waited by the rope and when the rope dropped about 3 families made a mad dash for Tinkerbell's treasures - so word is definately out and it is getting more popular. If you want to try I say go for it but maybe not say anything to your child until it is time and you are the first ones there. That way they will not be disappointed if they do not get to do it - If you do not get to wake up tink you can catch a glimpse of her through a key hole in a chest in the shop - just ask a CM

We just did this in May, we had a CRT before the park opened and after breakfast we went downstairs and everyone was waiting at the rope, we were actually on the otherside - I just started walking over to the shop and they must have dropped the rope because I heard footsteps stampeding towards me. I started booking it and upon entering the store yelled "has anyone woken Tink yet?" and I head about 4 groans behind me....

Both DD's and I got to wake Tink...DD's got a certificate, stickers and they also let the two girls behind me do it after we were done.

We tried this in November, when DD was 3. I never told her, but when the ropes dropped, when ran to TT and were the first ones there. But when I asked the first store employee, she got a strange look on her face and had me ask the other employee. When we did, she just said, she's not here today and walked away. I would love for my DD now 4 1/2 to be able to do this in October, but I don't think I can convince DH to run across the MK again!!
