I think you need to keep thinking on it. Tattoos are pretty much permanent. They can be removed or revised, but it's expensive and hurts a lot. You want to get it right the first time.

I would stick to faith, trust and pixie dust. Its harder to mess up vs. portrait work. Do you have any other tats with the metallic color in them? Some people don't do well with the pigment, either in skin tone conflict or it just doesn't take as well. Make sure you have a very good artist working on you every time!

Unpopular opinion time: I've seen some really terrible reproductions of Disney characters as tattoos and usually think they're a pretty poor choice. Just out of concern for the talents of the artist, I'd go with the quote.

I agree. I doubt I will ever get a tattoo, but if I did I would never get a reproduction of any character, especially in such a visible spot like my leg. I generally like just tattoos of of quotes and since you aer having doubts I think there would be a lot less risk of you regretting it.

I would also factor into your decision what type of work you do and if a big colorful tattoo would be frowned upon.

Before getting any tattoo you need to research the tattoo artist. Not all of them can do faces and small detail without looking like a crap...
I always wanted to do a Disney tattoo but can't decide what I wanted. So what I ended up doing was having hidden mickeys incorporated in my tattoos.
What ever design you end up doing, you must post picutres..lol

Just an update in getting tink anime/pinup style should be done by November 21 just in time for my jan6 cruise

If you're already having doubts, why get the tattoo in the first place? (Full disclosure: No, I don't have any ink.) If you ever make a firm decision, then THAT'S the time to get the work done. And don't forget that most employers won't hire anyone with visible tattoos. That will probably not always be the case, but I don't see it changing in the near future for sure.

I have several tattoos (including some portrait styles) and if you find the right artist it can be done.

Make sure they've done it, and see pics.

Personally, I like the idea of the face with the banner of the words underneath her face.
