:wizard: Does anybody know if there is a Tinkerbell character that walks around at WDW. I remember seeing Peter Pan and Wendy, but I don't remember seeing Tink, and she is my favorite character. :earsboy:

Nope... No tinkerbell for autographs...

I don't know why, but that ones a little 'magical' for disney. My daughter loves her too and thought that the 'barbie fairy' was really cool, so she'd flip for tink, but alas no such luck.

She is looking forward to seeing her in wishes, though!

Nope, no Tink -- except to see her fly down in Wishes.

I've heard Disney doesn't have a Tink for autographs and such because she is supposed to be a little fairy so they don't want a big adult Tink to ruin the image. -- I gotta say, I see their point.

I'm bringing some very fine glitter (Pixie Dust) next trip and I am going to sneakily sprinkle it on my niece and then say "Oh, look there goes Tink!"

:wizard: Oh yeah thats a good point. O well. I like that idea about the pixie dust, but I don't think it would have the same effect if i did it to myself. :earsboy:

I love that pixie dust idea!!!!!!!! I am going sprinkle it on my kids bed during our stay so when they wake up I'll say "Tinkerbell was just here!"

Oh, sorry, but thanks for the laugh....I got an image of a guy standing in the middle of Main Street sprinkling Pixie Dust on himself and then looking around to see who did it! :rotfl2:

When are you going, maybe I could sneak up on you with a little of the dust? :earsboy:

WOW!!! What an EXCELLENT idea!!! My oldest DD will turn 16 on our trip in May, that would be a great thing to do to her on her birthday!!! She LOVES tink!! Her name here on the DIS is thinktink510!!! :goodvibes

My DD who will be 16 in about a week is quite upset that WDW doesn't have a Tink. We've seen pics of a person dressed as her in a parade in another Disney (over seas) and Disneland will now have her on the first float starting in May. Now DD wants me to up and fly her to California. I wished they would have had her at all the parks for their 50th.

:wizard: Thanks for the offer WaltD4Me. I'll be there at the end of August, but the pixie dust will probably make me sneeze. :earsboy:

As soon as you get to MK, go to Tinkerbell's shop, just past the castle, and ask if Tink's been up and about. Don't blink, you might miss Tink!

I used to work at MK and no, Tink does not do autographs. She is a very small pixie fairy, but you can see her fly in Tink's Treasures or during WISHES. :cheer2:

Have you ever gotten to Wake up Tink? Don't know that it is something an adult would get too much out of, but if there is a child with you give a shot.

Incase you haven't this is how:
Be the first guest at Tinkerbell's Treasures (just through the castle) at shop opening - and ask to wake up Tink... The child taps on a small chest 3 times with the wand, and says "Wake up Tinkerbell“ 3 times. Then Tink begins flying around the shop, and you receive a Magical Moments Certificate.
Peek through the keyhole of one of the dresser drawers and see Tink herself flying around in there!

It's tough to be the first one there be we got lucky on our first try! Good luck. :wave2:
