I want to do little Tinkerbell gifts on this trip to WDW. We did them last trip and not only did the kids have something to entertain them while we were getting ready, but we also then had to force the kids to pick on souvenirs on our last day so it worked out great. I am a little stuck this time around though, especially on DSS. Last trip we did tshirts and lightsticks and paddleballs, things like that. So far this trip I have autograph books for both on our very first day, Cinderella dress for DSD (what to get DSS on our MK, lunch in the castle day?), princess markers and a Mickey coloring book for DSD, a pooh photo album for DSD, a princess stamp set for DSD, and a light up necklace for DSD. I'm also planning on getting waterproof cameras for both for our waterpark day. It's not that I like DSD more, she is just easier to buy stuff for because she is in love with princesses especially. DSS on the other hand had to be convinced to go on this trip so I'm stuck on what to get him. He shows little interest in Cars but I heard rumors about pirate stuff at Target so maybe that is the direction I will head. Any suggestions or ideas?

I oredered lightchasers from Disney Online. They were 5-6 dollars a piece and I remember the kids wanting them last year and mamma not willing to part with $50 for 3 of them.

I also ordered lunchboxes, sweatshirts, and PJ pals.

I picked up towels form Target and a few odds and ends as well. Pencils form the dollar store, yo-yos.

You can check my blog for pictures.

I put pins for trading (that I got off of ebay for much cheaper than they are in the park) under my daughter's pillow and left out little notes (business card size-small as Tinkerbell is so small) where she could find them (so she'd know to check under her pillow). She loved it and didn't ask for pins but once or twice at the stores in the parks.

I love doing Tinkerbell gifts for the kids...it just adds an extra layer of magic. I try to stock up when the Disney store has its sales. Here are some ideas:

1. swim goggles/ bathing suit / flip flops
2. sunglasses/ lip balm/ beach towel
3. tatoos/ pirate eye patch/ hook <--maybe for castle lunch?!! I've also seen a Jack Sparrow mini-dress up set on sale at Target (Eye tatoos, belt, etc)
4. star wars figures or light saber that lights up
5. baseball cap -- Disney Store or similar
6. Mr. Potato Head ... buy a box of accessories at WDW (is he too old/cool for this??I know I'm not!!)
7. disposable camera
8. disney dollars/ $$ for arcades
9. surprise passes to water park or DQ -- I know its pricey, but if you were planning on it anyway, maybe it could be a surprise??

Have a great trip and have fun planning.

My kids love magic towels. They are cheap and a great incentive to get them in the bathtub when they return from the park and are tired and cranky. The Disney store has had them on clearance for .99. they are also great trip reminders for when you get back home.

I just went to Target yesterday and found a ton of Disney Princess,Pirates of the Carribbean and Cars stuff in the dollar bins:thumbsup2
