which will have "a bit of the Winter Woods"

I'll keep you in suspense - what name would Tink's sister have?

Some may note, after looking at the photo in the post, that Tinker Bell sometimes meets Alice in Malibu.

Thanks for the heads up. I think it looks like fun and would be a great addition to the holidays at DLR, but I am still soooo hoping to catch original, classic Tink at the park, not wintered-up Tink. ;) I've got a son going as Peter Pan on Halloween, and he desperately wants to meet her.

If it is cold out, Tink sometimes wears a jacket anyway, even if it's not "winter". :)

Last time I saw Tink, she was in her awesome "adventure" traveling outfit. The green leggings and jacket made of leaves. It was so fun to get to see her in a different outfit! I think it increased my DD's belief even more, because the time before that, she'd been in her classic outfit. I think she figured that we all change our clothes, why don't the characters? Tink also had a great story about it as well, it was super cute!

Really? They're going to have Periwinkle there? Do you know if it will be in conjunction with the release of the new movie, or will they wait until the holiday season (since she's from the winter woods, after all)? Yeah, I've seen a few of those trailers...My girls are huge fairies fans, and it's something we are able to enjoy together.

When we were there last year in early November, Tink was wearing her traveling outfit from the second movie. Her CM handler said that she would be switching soon and that she was happy because kids kept mistaking her as a boy in that outfit! When we returned in December, she was wearing her short shirt with a jacket.

Oh my gosh, how cute are they?! I love the winter Tink. Guess this is just another reason to come back for Christmas :lmao:

If your son adores Peter Pan, take him into the innovations building to the bottom floor where the house of the future is. There is a boys bedroom there that is done up to the theme of Peter Pan and the room comes alive when the book of Peter Pan is told by one of the cast members who typically are there reading. I wont give anything away but it is pretty darn awesome! I think that room is my highlight to innovations.

DD is super excited about this, saw the commericial several times during the olympics ~ I love this - Tinker Bell meets Periwinkle, a frost fairy who turns out to be Tink’s sister, born of the same baby’s laugh. DD was wondering why they're sisters. That's a lovely explanation.

Mystic_path, TY!!! I have never heard anything about this, and will admit that the innovations building was not high on my list of To Do's--but it just rose to claim a spot on the Top 10 Things That Aren't Cars Land. ;)
Yes, my 4yo son loves Peter Pan, but a big part of the love is because Tink loves Peter and my son loves Tink. He is so hoping to find her while he's in his costume to get her attention, and as first-time visitors, I most want a photo of classic Tink. But I'll take her anyway we can get her!
The frost fairy seems like a perfect addition to the holiday season, so I'm betting she'll be there.
