Does anyone know if WDW sells an adult sized Tink costume at the Tink store near the Castle in MK? My friend's DD wears an adult small and I am afraid they won't be able to get her a costume. All help is much appreciated. They leave for their first trip on Monday!!!!

Thanks in advance for help and advice.

 Oh gosh!! I hope you guys can find something--could her mom go to a costume store and buy the outfit then hide it in the suitcase and then just have it out hanging in the closet when she comes into the room?? Then let her wear it and pick out the accessories in the park. I would make sure I got a fancy one with the netting and layers so it looks like the youthful version.....I wouldn't make any big deal about it just already have the costume there and I wouldn't think she would think she were any different if she got to wear it and pick out accessories. Good luck;)

:) Could she wrap it in a box and then distract the daughter and have a CM bring it up to the room like a delivery. I am not sure how old she is--but this would make it seem special and take the stress of finding the right size off the Mom ...let me know if this helps....I will be worrying about it all week.

My Mama was always a size 3 and I was always a 12--she never got the right size first time around--although she tried.

Thanks for the input. You see, she has bought her a dress, but DD doesn't like it. It is an "official" Fairies costume, but for some reason the girl says it doesn't look like Tink. My friend thinks that if it is from WDW, her DD will like it no matter what because that is the one that is at the Tink store! Argh!!!!

Sorry. I've never seen adult sized Tink costumes in the parks...I we typically go during MNSSHP.

Also don't know how old she is but if she appears to be an adult, she will not be allowed to wear the costume anyway. Only children can wear costumes in the parks. And it doesn't matter what her actual age is (Don't forget...Tink is played by a very petite woman!). If she's big for her age, she may not be allowed in with a costume.

Would she settle for Tink wings or something similar? They definitely sell those in the parks.

www.buycostumes.com has them. Adult size tinkerbell costumes plus other adult size disney costumes but they aren't cheap. I've ordered costumes from them for years.

Never mind - I see her Mom did find her one. But still check out the website, it's pretty cool. And no, I don't have any affiliation with them. :rotfl:

:) As sweet and loving as my Mama is --I was always a good size little one--she would have taken the dress with us--when I objected to it she probably would have let me try on store dresses while there but when those didn't fit--she would have had the dress with her--I would have put it on and she would have bought special pieces to go with it. Sh ewould have taken me to BBB becasue she knew that there would be that possiblity ahead of time--so I would look and feel extra speical--or gotten me a manicure to go with the dress before leaving to make it seem extra special. I would have been disappointed because the truth that the store one didn't fit would have been evident. Then the first time a CM complemented me on it or called me "Princess" I would have been fine. As a child wearer of adult sizes, I think she will be fine, too. It is the attention that she gets while in costume that is important. I hope I haven't sounded like a smarty pants--I really hope it is a wonderful experience for the child. Take the dress she has and roll with it:thumbsup2. I would really like to here how it all works out as Mama and I have "been there" before.:flower3:

Thanks for the advice. My friend leaves Monday. She called Disney Merchandise # I gave her and was told no adult costumes in the park. If her DD doesn't fit in a 10-12 at the park, she can wear the one her mother bought or not have a costume. The child is "strong willed" to say the least. If it was my DD, she would be wearing the costume with a smile on her face!
