Timing - The Wave

I have reservations at the Wave for 5:00. Ideally I would like to make it back to MK in time for the Electric Parade. Friends of our will already be in the park and will "claim" a spot for us on Main Street. The parade starts at 7. What do you guys think- Am I giving myself enough time? Ive never eaten here before so I my biggest concern is transit time.
With Liberty tree closed that week and BOG ressies impossible I dont see any other good dining options close by. Unless soemone has a suggestion we have the dining plan so I would like to use a TS credit.

I would think it should be enough time. It doesn't take long to get back if you hop on the monorail. You could try The Plaza instead to stay in the park. They take ADRs.

last time i had dinner there we actually got seated about 10 mins early and the service was quick. with the park being about a 5 min walk away you should have plenty of time to get back for the parade.

Definitely walk balk to MK after dinner. You will have no problem making it back with time to spare.

If you forget using transportation and walk both ways, you should be fine

DO NOT hop on the monorail if you want to get back to the MK quickly. You would go all the way around, stopping at the TTC and the other resorts first! Just walk back. Much faster, and downhill all the way.

Thank you for all the replies- should I take the monorial TO the Contemporary from MK we will be in the park before we eat as well. Im not at all familiar with how the monorail runs directionally.

You can, if you want. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. You could wait longer than that for the monorail to even arrive at the MK station.

I never thought about walking. Then again, I'm usually looking for any way to get out of the heat.

THat should be plenty of time if you WALK.

Food at The Wave is very good and if you arrive early for a 5 pm seating, there is a good chance you will be seated early.
