What has been better in your experience.... the beginning of January or the end of January into the first week of February? My dh doesn't like waiting.... or being too hot.... I know the weather is pretty hit or miss in January but what about the crowd situation?

I don't think you'll have to worry about being hot! We've been both at the beginning of Jan. and towards the end (Martin Luther King weekend) The beginning of January was pretty crowded (just after New Years). The holiday weekend wasn't bad at all and over all was a much better trip! You never know about the weather - one year it was freezing, one year very nice. You never know in Florida! :D

We've gone the past few years in the end of January.........And love it, because of the 'lack of' crowds.................All things considered, I would go every January for this reason........We are from the northeast and it never really gets "that cold" in Orlando..............comparatively speaking.............It gets cool at nite...........but not too ridiculous..................but the trade off for the 'lack of waiting', makes it well worth it........

The only other 'con' is the closed attractions for refurbishment, but again........its usually not so ridiculous that the trade off for small crowds doesn't make it worthwhile.............:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
