Timing on ebay

I have a few items that would make good Christmas presents (new in box toys) I like to list on Sundays just to make life simple and have it end the following Sunday. I am shying away from listing anything that would end Thanksgiving weekend because it seems like prices would not go as high. Yes, no, nobody knows???

I would wait and begin the auctions after Thanksgiving. I had stuff listed last year and they did not do that well.

I think I am going to list the Sunday after Thanksgiving too. I am going to clean out the girls rooms and sell some of their toys to make room for new! My younger DD's room is filled with a Barbie van, Barbie train, Barbie townhouse (I might keep that), American Girl type bed, American girl salon chair ... well, you get the picture. She doesn't play with these any more and they are taking up valuable space!

I have listed some Christmas clothes that are ending this Thursday and they are doing well!

My Thanksgiving auctions did well last year ending on Sunday. I thought maybe the men were watching football and the moms were ebaying!

That was suppose to be the "phylosophy" of it but in practice, at least for me, it did not work. I also think it has a lot to do with what you have and who sees it. That is why you can list something with little to no interest and a couple weeks later have it cause a bidding war.
