Timing of Banking Points and Making Ressies

We just closed on a 250 point BWV resale this past Thursday. We have until the end of Feb to bank 125 of the 194 points from 2000 (we'll use the other 69 points locally this year).

This week, I plan to make our first reservation, for the end of this year. We expect to use 281 points, assuming we get the dates and location we want.

Do those 125 points need to be banked BEFORE I make the reservation??

When you try to make a reservation for 280 points in a use year that only has 250 points available, they will ask you if you want to borrow from the following year, you are going to pipe up and say "No, I want to bank from this year" , you tell MS the number of points you want banked, they will give you a transaction number, you write it down, and its done.

You can do everything you want to on one phonecall. Check availability and make your local reservation, bank any remaning pints and make your next reservation as long as you are within the 7-11 month booking windows.
