Timing for eating at the Boathouse then to AK?

Will this work? We have a 5:00 pm reservation at the Boathouse and want to be at the entrance of Animal Kingdom by 7:00? Is this going to work? I'm hoping Disney will have the new Uber like transportation going for DS, if not we can take an Uber.

I would not try.

Uber from Disney Springs picks up at the OTHER end of the "area" (down past the Cirque show theatre!)

This is not a rush dinner, and if they are at all behind you are going to start dinner stressed and just stay that way. I generally spend over an hour there and I am solo.

About how long do you think we should allow for dinner and travel time? There is only 2 of us. I know that Uber is also now picking up in the old bus lot by the Christmas store.

I would allow 90 minutes to eat (be seated, order, eat slowly enough to enjoy your meal, pay) and another hour for travel time (including walking from Boathouse to Uber pickup point and from Uber dropoff to gate of AK). It may take less time, but why stress through what should be a lovely meal at Boathouse?
