Timing for Dinner at Cali Grill/Wishes

If I want to see Wishes while dining at California Grill, what time window should I book my ADR?? Like an hour before or 30 minutes before or what?? What is the best strategy?? I really hate to eat late but want to see Wishes while dining here and another couple we are traveling with also want to do this.

I would say at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours before Wishes. It seems people linger around a while to watch Wishes which backs up the rest of the ADRs. We had a 6pm ADR back in Oct and got done with dinner around 8pm. While we were waiting on a elevator I heard several people arguing with the hostess b/c they had been waiting 45 minutes past their ADR for a table.

Also just to warn you not all tables are close to the area to watch Wishes. Half of the restaurant has to get up and go outside to see Wishes. On our trip in Oct we ate at CG and I watched a grown man throw a hissy fit b/c his table was not on the side looking at the Castle.
