Good morning everyone!

Can someone please weigh in on the timing/logistics of my potential plan?

Next weekend we are heading over for our 2nd anniversary and on Saturday night we have reservations at the Flying Fish at 7pm. We would like to go see Wishes at the Magic Kingdom after that; Wishes starts at 10p. Assuming we are at dinner 1.5 - 2 hours, our plan is to drive to either the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, or the Polynesian, park, and ride the monorail over to the MK to see Wishes. After that, we'll come back to whichever hotel we parked at and visit the lounge. :drinking1

Do you think I am allowing enough time to get from the Boardwalk to MK?

Thanks!! :sunny:

It's going to be tight. Saturday night at FF is very busy. What if you don't get your table till 7:30? You have to figure travel time to the monorail resort, parking, getting to the monorail station, waiting for a monorail, going through security and the ticket gate at MK, working your way through the crowd,YIKES! I think probably the GF would be the best choice, since it's just one stop from MK. I would hate to see you rush your anniversary dinner. Are you sure you don't want to see Illuminations? Just a quick walk from FF through the IG?
Good Luck and Happy Anniversary! :sunny:

Thank you for the insight! :sunny:

We love Illuminations, but we've seen it about a bazillion times and have never seen Wishes. We are staying at BWV so we'll probably try and get down to FF around 6:45 or so. I agree with you, we definitely don't want to rush our dinner, so we'll try and scoot down a little early to (hopefully) ensure timely seating.

FF is awesome, but are you sure you don't want to have dinner at GF Citrico's and save FF for another night? :confused3
I think Citrico's is just as nice and it's just a hop & a skip from Wishes. :)

Maybe you could still get a Wishes cruise if you'd like to splurge. Some people also report being able to hear/see wishes from the Poly beach (music piped in); then you could also see the ELP!

You may not be allowed to park at any of those resorts on a Saturday night just to go visit the MK. Why not just take the bus from BW to MK? That would be a little easier than drive/monorail and should be enough time to make the show (assuming you are done with dinner by 9).
