Timing and dining questions

On one day of our DLR visit, we're taking the Grayline tour of LA and Hollywood. I've been told that the bus arrives back to the Grand Californian between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. We're doing the tour on a Wednesday. I'd like to eat at Catal that night. What time would you make the reservation for? If you think we ought to eat somewhere else, which of the following do you think is the best: PCH Grill, Rainforest, Naples or Tortilla Joe's? Thanks for your help.

I haven't eaten at Catal, but it always looks good walking by it. I would say 9pm would be a safe time, not knowing if you'll be back before 8:30. If you were to eat somewhere else, I would avoid Tortilla Joe's. Without the influence of their Margaritas, the food is mediocre. Rain forest is a fun experience if you haven't been. We always eat at ESPN zone, but it is pretty casucal. Burgers to die for though, lol.

Oh, also look in to Napa Rose at DCH, its good food.
