Timeshare Store Basket Questions...

A couple of us have posted questions in the thread above, but no one seems to be reading the thread anymore, including Tom.

Someone posted that they were told Timeshare now delivers to their room, but I never saw if that was true.

Also, my parents will have the rental car and were planning to meet us after picking up the basket, do you have to show any type of identification? Will they have trouble picking it up? Their names are not on our contract.

There have no emails coming from the dis site they do not know there have been posts there to answer.

DIS mods are looking into the problem.

the gift basket is a generous offer in and of itself. i would be shocked if they added the expense to deliver these to wdw. please remember that the gift basket is a bonus and not a guaranteed part of the contract. i would caution against taking any one post too seriously when so many others have indicated that their policy has always been to offer them if you come by their location...there's a number on the website if you are determined to contact them...

i brought the letter from TTS inviting me to come by and pick up a gift basket when i came to wdw. last month when i walked in, i asked about the gift basket and they asked if i had gotten one of their letters, so i produced it. i think that letter is all you or your parents would need for ID.

Chalee-please note that I have been trying to get answers to my questions for many weeks now. I realize this is a very generous offer, and just want to make sure I have the correct information before I send my parents to TTS. I think it is also a generous offer for them to go out of their way to pick this up for me. "Determined to contact them..." seems a bit harsh. I did not realize that the emails were not being automatically delivered and was frustrated my multiple posts were not being answered by TTS, and was having to rely on, perhaps erroneous info from other posters. I also thought it strange they would deliver, that is why I asked.
