Timeshare rental help

Is is possible to rent a timeshare from an owner for 7 nights, but not on a Saturday - Saturday basis? We are headed to Orlando Tuesday 2/12 - Tuesday 2/19. I'm particularly interested in Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Seaworld, Marriott Harbour Lakes or Sheraton Vistana Villages. I know I can book any of those directly, like I would a hotel room, but I'd like to look into saving some money by renting from an owner. However, most listings I've seen are for a set week, starting on the weekend.

Is booking it like a hotel room my only option?

It depends on the rules of ownership for that particular timeshare. I know when I rent I have always requested what I need and got it. That said, it was always a Fri-Fri or Sat-Sat. I would contact a renter (you can find them on ebay or TUG) and see what they say.

Marriotts have Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday check-ins and Vistana Villages has Friday, Saturday and Sunday check-ins, so those won't meet your Tuesday to Tuesday needs. However, HGVC SeaWorld has check-ins on every day of the week. If I remember correctly, HGVC is a points-based timeshare system so you may be able to match with an owner. I'd suggest going to the classifieds sections at Redweek.com or Timeshare Users Group (tug2.net) to see if you can find an owner who can check on availability for your dates.

not on your list - but would check Wyndham and Disney vacation club also - know the marriott have other days than thur-sun - because have check in on both mon and wed using II - but they were probably the resort ownership vs a owner
