Timeshare promotions

Most will probably think me the fool, but as a single mom with teenager that actually still want to go on vacation with me, I have to take advantage of any way to save a buck.

Last year we took advantage of a promotion at Westgate Lake Resorts and the kids absolutely loved the place!

There are promotions for Westlake available again, but I am hoping that someone has more experience with this than I do, as they state that you cannot have toured the resort with the last year. We will actually be short about a week. How closely are these things tracked as I certainly cannot afford to have them bill me the whole amount, which is what the site says they will do.

Anyone have any knowledge about this?

I don't know how well they track it, but I know they ask questions like, how much do you make and are you married, blah, blah and they don't really check into that. I wouldn't chance it though, I know I'd be in big trouble if they billed me the whole amount. I would try to find another timeshare. There are so many, especially down there. You shouldn't have any trouble finding another one.
