I have a question, what is the nicest timeshare you have stayed at or rented?
My parents our letting us use their timeshare next year so I want to be prepared. We have stayed at OLCC and Cypress Harbour, both were nice we thought, but looking for nicer accomadations. Any requests? We need a 2 bedroom villa.

We own at DVC and you can't go wrong there, but we also stayed in a refurbished room at the Marriott Grande Vista in a 2BR and it was very, very nice. We would stay there again, even though it is further from WDW.

I consistently stay at Fairfield Resorts timeshares (not to be confused with Marriott's Fairfield Inns which are not affiliated and are nothing like the deluxe Fairfield Resorts).

My favorite is Fairfield Bonnet Creek, located in the heart of Disney property, next to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It has a nice lazy river, a children's water fountain play area, a large heated pool and two outdoor jacuzzis as well as many other amenities. I think the (complimentary) miniature golf course is now open, although it will be a few years yet before the 18 hole golf course is completed.

My daughters and I were treated to the most spectacular Disney fireworks display we ever saw last New Years Eve. We had watched Illuminations earlier in the evening from our balcony, but nothing prepared us for the pyrotechnics awaiting us at midnight from this same balcony! Directly ahead of us erupted the special New Year's Illuminations program from Epcot...just behind those was the Magic Kingdom's display. To our left MGM was incredible with bursts of hearts, planets, flowers and happy faces. To our right were the fireworks from Pleasure Island.

We toasted each other with grape juice "champagne" as we enjoyed this special unexpected treat for at least a half an hour, maybe longer.

We also stay at Fairfield's Star Island and Cypress Palms resorts located off 192 (about 5 miles away). We play tennis at Star Island and enjoy using the (complimentary) steam room and sauna in their spa. The Bridge of Lions is but one feature of this resort that has a drop dead gorgeous main pool with a waterfall...plus a childrens pool and play area.

Cypress Palms is one of my favorite resorts because it is small and intimate, one can walk to several popular restaurants (Chili's, Cracker Barrel, Uno's, Macaroni Grill and Krispy Kreme's) as well as CVC drugstore without crossing traffic, and SuperWalmart and Publix grocery stores are literally less than 5 minutes away. Cypress Palms has a wine and cheese party on Sunday nights, a lovely welcome breakfast on Monday mornings and bingo every weekday, all complimentary. There are fitness walks or pool excercise in the mornings (all 7 days) as well. They have some of the nicest art/painting activities for a small fee which both adults and children can do.

Lol...if I sound like an ad for Fairfield Resorts, I am not anything with them other than a satisfied owner. I believe in giving credit where credit is due and I have stayed at many, many other Orlando area resorts including Vistana, Celebration and Disney's log homes at Fort Wilderness. Fairfield has spoiled me!
