Times for Soundsational and Paint the Night?

We will be arriving next week and it is our first visit!!
We would like to watch both parades from Matterhorn area. What time should we plan on securing a spot if we want front row viewing?

I don't think the crowds for Soundsational are really that big anymore, so you could probably still get a front row spot with less than a hour to go (I'd hesitate to say 30 minutes, but probably somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes).

PtN is a totally different situation. I'd say that front row spots for the first showing are generally gone about 2 hours before the parade is slated to start. So if you want a front row spot, you'll need to start checking out the area you're interested in around the 2 to 3 hour mark. The front row spots for the second parade (if there is one) fill up almost as soon as the fireworks end. So you really need to plan on watching fireworks from wherever you want to view PtN in that case.
