Timeline for Being Penciled In

Hello ladies.

I'm a little confused about the timeline for being penciled in. We are planning a very late October 2015 Escape wedding. I know we can be penciled in at 9 months out but my understanding is that once a new month starts you can book for the entire month that begins 9 months later is that correct?

Basically, since we are hoping for October 26th or 27th we can call to get penciled in now right? Or do we have to wait until the end of the month?

You cannot sign your Escape contract until 8 months from the date, so February 25 or 26. Since the whole "penciling in" thing is unofficial, you could try calling them now to get the ball rolling, but they won't reserve the venue or date for you yet.
