my mom said you could go to disney for a week and not see it all, that was based off her trip when she was a kid in the 70s! So Im assuming its even bigger now so far my rough itinary is this
Day 1:arrive, check in, MK
Day 2: morning HS or disney springs 5pm+ MK for MVMC
Day 3: is my bffs choice so idk
Day 4&5: day 4 and 5 land on sat&sunday so as these days will be busier we plan to use one outside of disney to see a sporting event OR epcot so which ever isnt out of disney will be epcot
Day 6: HS if done early disney springs
Day 7: MK
Day 8: tour resorts and check out

Note: I am not doing AK this is an intentional skip.

Is this sufficant spread? do you think i may have extra time it seems HS doesnt have much and a lot of people talk about doing epcot quickly ?

I can't imagine going to Disney without AK. You'll be missing tons of fun.

You need to devote a whole day to Epcot...you could do most of a day exploring the countries alone.

I dont go to any animal parks unless they are sanctuaries so AK is ruled out i wont go into details because i dont want to damper it for others but its not all sunshine for the animals unfortunately :( but on happier terms i will make a full day if not a day and a half for epcot

It looks like you only have 5 or 6 park days planned. You certainly won't have time to see or do everything in that time. One whole, plus a part day in MK will give you a chance to do a lot of the major attractions, but not all. One day at Epcot would definitely not be enough for us, but again, you should be able to do the major attractions in FW, and a cursory tour around WS. But you won't see or do everything. HS is a full day if you include seeing some of the shows. Note that you can get into the Christmas party as early as 4:00, which means you would have to leave DHS at 3.

I'd recommend that you look at one of the crowd calendars like easywdw.com to see which parks are recommended for each day of your stay.

What time is your departing flight? The ME bus will depart from your resort 3 hours before your flight. And you need to allow for time to retrieve any hand luggage left with luggage services in addition to allowing ample time to get back to your resort from your resorts tour.

I have been to Disney on many trips over the years and have still not seen it all. Mom is absolutely right!

Don't plan on seeing it all. Don't plan on seeing half. Plan a list of the most important things you want to do in this trip and then returning for many more grand adventures.

I'm past 30 trips and still finding new things. That's part of what makes Disney great!

I would not skip AK. IMO, you don't need to do HS twice. Be sure to hit Epcot. I'd personally substitute Epcot for HS entirely. (though I am biased and don't like HS)

I respect your decision to skip AK. I go and enjoy it but I dont know if it is best for the animals. I cant bear to see the gorillas. I understand they are not from the wild but other wildlife parks and Disney contributes millions to animal conservation.
I have been to WDW 9 times and I think you cant see all of it but you will experience most of the three parks if you have at least one day in each. Epcot and MK need the most time. Don't forget to book your FP+
Have a great trip.

we went for 5 full days in November and it was definitely NOT enough time.....we now have the Disney bug and are going back in April for 8 nights from Saturday to the following Sunday

I plan to do most of my time in MK , some days are split between MK and another park I only have one day for epcot currently but maybe ill try and add to that its hard because we only have 6 park days
