time to leave for park opening

At what time should I leave the all-star music resort to get to magic kingdom for the park opening?

8:15 am at the latest (assuming MK opens at 9 am that day). If it opens later, I say give yourself about 45 minutes to get there. Have a great trip!

We use the hour rule. Whatever park we want to be at for the opening we always leave one hour before to catch the bus.

When we stayed at CBR in March we left our hotel around 7:45 in order to be there by 8:45 or 8:50....just in time for opening

I'm so glad to have found this board. It's great to see I'm not the only one in love with Disney.

I've been there about 6 times. And since we are now going at the beginning of July, it is great to have found you guys!

We flew down from the middle of the country (USA) three times last year.
30 days total, in WDW... a month well-spent!

We also use the "one hour rule" for getting to the parks at opening and have had plenty of time to spare.
