Time to get to the park

Ok, we are just trying to figure out how long it is going to take us to get into Magic Kingdom the first day.

Do we drive directly to Magic Kingdom, or do we park in a "general" parking lot and then take the monorail or boat to MK?

We are staying 10 miles off property, so I'm hoping the drive won't be too bad in the morning.

Any advice?

If driving to the MK, you will park at the TTC across the lagoon from the park itself. If you are close to the actual TTC, you can walk from your car. Otherwise, there will be a tram to take you from your car to the TTC. At the TTC, you will need to take the monorail or the ferry boat across to the MK.

Is there a good map of all of this? And how long to get to MK from the TTC via monorail?

I was looking for a parking lot map earlier and couldn't really find one.

Once you get on the monorail, about 5 minutes from TTC to MK. It really depends on the crowds and how long the line is.
