Can you get into US early with just a HHN ticket?
What I mean is, when we went to MVMCP last year we got in the park about 4:30 with just the party ticket.
Do they hold you at the gate till 7pm or do they go ahead and let you in about 5pm if you have an event ticket only?

I am not looking to score extra time really. I am just trying to figure out some logistics.

Thanks for the help.

If you ONLY have a HHN ticket, they make you wait until 7. Last year we did Stay and Scream, meaning we used a park ticket (a hopper) to be in the park when it closed at 5. We ate dinner at 5 an by 5:30 the first house was open and we were able to go thru 4 houses by the time they first started letting other people in! We were the very first two people through one house, which really was a blast. (I'm a screamer and my husband thinks it's hilarious when I do, so that house was just soo much fun!)

Indeed, going to the park during the day and utlizing Stay & Scream would be the best idea. With Stay & Scream they hold you in various areas and wait until all the preparations are complete. Then, often by 6-630, you can start going to the houses. It's a lot of fun being able to have little-no wait to enter the houses and have half of them done by 8p. :)

When doin' HHN, you gotta do it "Stay & Scream"! With your day ticket + HHN tic, you've got such a huge advantage over the general public.
Alchemy & Backwater Bars have the MLB play-offs / World Series on too when you're done scare-housing.
And souveneirs for sale to boot!

also, the stay and scream last year was cheaper than the regular hard ticket for us. we bought ours at the hotel for one of the nights.

you will love hhn..........it roxs................................
::yes::

If we are going on 10/17 (Sunday) should I wait to buy a Stay and Scream ticket or get HHN tickets now? Do they ever sell out? Thanks!

i bought tickets for two people for three different hhn nights.
a friend joined us and we bought her day and stay and scream at the hotel.
we were told guests staying at the hotel are guaranteed tickets, even at a sell out night.
i have not heard of mid month sell outs. at the end of the month yes, but not in the beginning or middle of the month.

do what you think is best. i don't want you coming after me if you don't buy your ticket in advance and you go on a night it is sold out...........::yes::

Hehehe. I may just get them with the Fan Club discount to be safe! I am really looking forward to HHN and don't want to risk it.

Sundays usually don't sell out, so that's a +1 for waiting to get Stay & Scream day-of.

However, there is always a chance that it could sell out, and then you wouldn't be able to get S&S tix unless you already had yours.

Choose wisely...

Another question then, how much are the stay and scream passes for say a Wednesday or Thursday night and where do you get them?

Choose wisely...

just a heads up for you. i went last year fri, sat, sun for the first weekend of hhn.
sunday was more crowded by far than opening night on friday.

on friday, i hit all the houses and major rides at a leisurely pace. just the opposite on sunday. unable to do all houses, fire on roof of one of them. rides waits long at 10:00pm, etc. that was one night i should have bought the express ticket.

hard to determine which nights will be packed...........
based on the friday night hhn event, i was really taken back on sunday.
this year doing sat and sun second weekend. i have no idea what to expect on crowds.
