Time to get a Disney Visa...............

Eva, I think the limit is $750.00 per year.

I use our Disney VISA for business expenses. We had $180.00 in Oct. It was great! I had ordered the certificates and thanks to a tip from these boards, we charged items and such to our room, kept track of the amounts, and paid it off when we checked out. I came within .06 of the total amount!

I like the card option better. That way you don't have to worry about spending the amount of the certificates and paying the difference, etc. We got ours the other day and by the time we take our Disney cruise in April, we should have a nime amount on the card.

Do I need to go ahead and order my card even if I'm not planning on using it til next June?
If I order it now does it expire faster than if I left it in my acount?
I'm correct in that I just keep calling and having them add on more points as I accumulate them?
Thanks!

Thanks lsutigger2!

I assume that the new year starts on January 1st. I know that next year we will really be racking up the dollars. We are building a new house and will be purchasing a number of items ourselves to keep the loan at a minimum. We break ground next week! Yippee!

len - I believe that the points expire 12/31/04 just like the certificates do/did. You can actually add $$ to your card using their online system. Haven't tried it yet - guess it works. You can order your card at anytime. It didn't take very long to get it, but you need to allow for that.

eva - I was thinking that the year would be from the time we got our card (3/03), so I was thinking that we could get another $750.00 for year at that time. I could be confused about that. Really hadn't thought about it. Good luck on your house building project. Sounds like fun ?!

Anyone else have helpful information or suggestions???
