I'd have gone with ganache, cuz that's what I make over here for frosting. It's easy and I like the way it looks. But I'm in the definite minority here!

I feel relieved! I hope I forget about it. I have this feeling I will continue to 2nd guess myself.

I wanted to have some pink in it.. She said they couldn't do pink with the ganache.

Unfortunately it won't really be decorated at all. The white chocolate Cindy takes up most of the cake. I'll have to search to see if I can find a pic of it.

I know this is "Tim's" thread, but we've gone off topic before and I know some of my friends here have been praying for my brother, so I wanted to post a quick update:

For those of you who have been so generous with your prayers, we made a baby step today. My brother is off the sedation and the ventilator; he still has a breathing mask. They are taking him down for two procedures on his heart today and hopefully we will know more after those. The prayers are still needed...but as I said, we made a baby step today.

I know we talked about a quick meet-up on Monday at MK, but did we ever decide when or where? We usually try to get to the parks early, but we're also checking out of AKV that morning and probably won't go to the park until Bambi's parents get there from Lakeland. Really the only thing that is on our must do list that day is to meet Tiana. Other than that, we should be quite flexible.
