i've got 6 days to go and it will not get here fast enough. I've got to work 3 days this week and get ready to go. This trip is a mother daughter BFF trip. Will try to do a REAL TR so we will see. I made us some t-shirts for us to wear. yea!! will try to post a pic of it soon.

My mom(DM) is excited to go because her BFF is going and she really hasn't seen her in several years since she moved away. My mom isn't really a disney person and has gone with me in a pinch last feb but was a total Debbie downer. She complained about the cold, prices of food, etc.. (it really was cold though). She has been told that she is not allowed to complain this trip.

My BFF (DBFF): we have been friends since 6th grade and has gone to WDW with me when we were teenagers and had a blast then. We went for a long weekend last year and had a great time. She is a beach girl at heart but i'm turning her back into a disney fanatic with the DVC lifestyle. She is very excited to be going back.

Her mother (DMBFF): Of course, since me and my BFF did everything together, it only made sense that they became great friends and BFF's also. She hasn't been to disney in MANY years. not sure actually. I can't wait to see her and spend some time with her. It will be nice for her to get away for a girl's trip.

Well, it guess i started a pre TR huh? more to come.

ahhh, so ready to leave to go to OKW it's not even funny! Just got finished cleaning the house. I'm hoping and praying that my kids don't destroy my house while i'm gone. So i'm taking a quick break then i'm packing to leave. I am going to be at my mom's house to get her at 6a then meet my BFF at 7a to pick her up and then meet up with her mom. Hope all this meeting doesn't add alot of trip time to the drive but it is all going south so that's good. I wanted to get a pick of the t-shirts i had made for us but haven't had a chance yet. Will just have to get a pic of all of us in them. major countdown now!!

Thanks everyone! We are here and OKW is as beuatuiful as ever. Everyone, even my grumpy mom (lol), is having a blast. My BFF and her mom love the decor and the 1 BR is wonderful. We are enjoying a nice cup of coffee and getting the day started at our own pace. We are up and off to EPCOT today. Will try to post some pics a little later.

I was there a few weeks ago with my family. I love OKW all year but this time of the year is my favorite because everything is in bloom and it is very colorful. Have Fun!

16 days to go. I am more than ready. This trip is the celebrate DD2's HS graduation. Not that we need a reason. Just out annual a trip. Good news is this is the last one were we are tied to the public school schedule.

Tink, what fun! I have a 1BR booked at OKW for next Jan. 2012 and cannot WAIT. I've only stayed in studios and look forward to all that luxurious space. Have a wonderful, wonderful time with all the BFFs!

first off, let me say that the room is beautiful and everything so far is in good working order. We did not the a great view but everyone else is ok with it. Lots of foliage which makes for a nice shaded balcony to enjoy the afternoon.

Let me also say that I NEVER sleep well anywhere when we are not at home cause it's not my bed. Some are better than others but it's not MY bed. My BFF is on the pull out chair and i'm on the pull out couch. We gave the moms the king size bed because they are our moms and they deserve it! lol

Well, the first night the couch slide all over the floor but it came out very easy and i guess comfortable for a pull out. BFF said she slept very well. Last night we were all chatting and finally decided to go to bed around midnight and we go to pull out sleeper bed and it would NOT pull out and sit up correctly. We all tried numerous times to put it back and try again. only to have it not come out and have legs pull out and stand up. the moms decided that we must call maintance out there right now but i insisted that we will call in am and i was tired and ready for bed. tired of fighting with it. So i got to sleep on it long ways like a twin and rolling back some. So needless to say, i'm the only one up so far and really glad that we have a pool day so i can nap there. So i can get rid of this feeling

Like i said, it is just a bump in the road and we are having a wonderful time. I teared up watching illuminations last night cause it was a first for all three of them. My BFF and her mom have never been to Epcot so they really enjoyed it. I had several firsts that was amazing. We went on Soaring, hit the ditch in mexico for chips and salsa and margaritas, Captain EO (BFF said it made her embarrassed that we were from the 80's ). All in all a great day.

Now just need to get my sun and nap in and we are off to the tea afternoon which will be a first for the moms!!
