time to arrive?

We plan to eat at Beaches and Cream on the day we tour DHS in December.

Do we need to arrive earlier than the 11am opening to stand in line? If so, how early or would it be better to eat a later lunch?

We went the Saturday before Easter. We started leaving Epcot at 10:41 - and sat at the tables by Stormalong Bay until they opened. We were first in line, barely, but even with the three families waiting to be seated, the restaurant didn't fill up until they'd been open for about half an hour.

I would go early vs a late lunch, but that's the way that I am in general.

We ate there the week after Easter this year and arrived around 12...it was empty
