time slots for breakfast

do i have to wait till we check in at hotel new york, or can i call up soon and book a time slot for breakfast? if so, do they have a limit, for example up to 1 week in advance or whatever?? i wanna get a 7am slot for each day so we can get ino the park early
also, lets just say we slept in, till about 8 and went down for breakfast at 9, would we not be served since we had already booked in for 7am??

you can't book your breakfast slots in advance, you have to wait until you get to your hotel.

It doesn't matter what slot you get, you can go for breakfast at any time - earlier the better to have the more pleasant experience though (or you could, at the HNY, go into the parks for EMH from 8am to about 9.15 and then go back to your hotel for breakfast).
