make sure that when you call to transfer the rewards points, they do a transfer, and don't order you a new card. i had a bad experience last month when i called 2 days before our trip to transfer our points. after he did the a "transfer" he told me they would be available in 10 days. i explained to him that they were supposed to transfer immediately, he couldn't figure out why he got 10 days and had me talk to a supervisor. the supervisor told me that everything was fine, and it was just because of the holiday weekend that they weren't transferring immediately. low and behold, we get down there, and the points weren't available upon check-in when i had to pay for
DDP, or at check-out. it was 5am, so i didn't make a fuss and just figured i would use them next time. well, when we got home, there was a new rewards card in the mail. i called chase to complain, and they were actually able to contact disney and credit my disney visa and use the new rewards card to pay our room balance (they also gave me an extra $25 in rewards for the mistake

). so, in the end, no harm, no foul, and i got $25 extra rewards, but i think from now on i will just do the transfers online myself instead.
