Time MK is now letting people into park?

What about 8am EMH openings? When are they letting people in for that? Our first day has one, so I've been curious how that is going to work. Do you get in at 7am???

We were at the AM EMH on Friday, April 21. They let people into Main Street about 7:50 and you had to go around the right side of the street and have your band scanned to get into Fantasyland and Tomorrowland for EMH.

If I am headed to PP at a 9:00 AM opening and I want to be the first one there, what time would I need to be belly up to the rope and which rope should I belly up to - the one to the left of the castle or on the bridge to Liberty Square?

Man ... gotta get back in research mode for our trip o. Dec to know when the "real" rope drop times are for the parks. Other parks seem to be having some type of unannounced, partial "soft" rope drop times now.

I may be misremembering things but from our trip 2 Febs ago it seems like HS would let you in a little before the official rope dope and slowly guide the masses to stop the running to TSM. Also for JTA people could wander in early too.

Let me know if there are some unannounced rope drops at the parks, even if it is just a partial opening.

Josh of EasyWDW did a comparison and he said that going through the castle, even with having to wait a few minutes for the characters to clear after the welcome show, was the fastest to PP.

Buses usually start running about an hour before park opening (or an hour before the morning EMH to that park) and continue running for about an hour after park close. I am only about 90% sure it is the same for the monorail, but someone else may can give a more definitive answer.

He was asking about the "Main St. Vehicles" ("horse trolley, antique cars") that run from Town Square to the Hub (and the reverse journey.)

However, sorry, but your info regarding Disney buses between the resorts and the parks is also inaccurate.

Resort buses begin running every day by about 6:30AM (some earlier) and on the rare dates when MK has an early AM EMH opening at 7:00AM, the buses will be rolling
even that much earlier.

After the park closes, the buses will continue to roll until ALL guests have been picked up.
That time will usually be two hours (on average) after that park closes, but can also be later if there are still some stragglers exiting the park.

The monorail has been running with a shortened schedule on many days, at even that schedule has seen some additional changes, as of late.

My apologies!! I shouldn't try to "sneak" on the DIS while at work so I can pay attention! Thanks for clearing up the running times for buses as well.
