Time limit for Rider swap

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a time limit for Rider swap. For example could we get one for RSR, and have husband and 1 yr old go to the other side of the park to do rides he can ride. Have us to meet them, do that section of the park, and then work our way back and have them use the Rider swap hours later?

Prior to covid it was about an hour. You couldn't use it hours later. It varied each time (the CM would manually put it in after guessing how long it would take the first rider to get through). I did do rider switch on a recent trip post-covid and asked if we had to ride right away and they said yes. I didn't notice if it had an expiration time or anything though in my app.
